A Guide to Watermelon Haze Hemp Flowers

Bred from a cross between the Haze and Watermelon varieties, Watermelon Haze is a high-CBD strain that produces dense and delicious buds loaded with flavors of sweet fruits and delicate pine.

Watermelon Haze CBD Hemp Flower Review

The history of Watermelon Haze is somewhat of an enigma and we don’t know where this strain originated. What we do know, however, is that it produces medium-sized dense buds that are covered in frosty trichomes and golden hairs.

Cannabinoid Content

The cannabinoid content of Watermelon Haze ranges from around 15% to 21%, making it an incredibly potent varietal while staying within the 0.3% legal guidelines.

It can take up to 60 days of flowering time to produce this concentration, but it’s not a bad return for growers and it means Watermelon Haze is ideal for producing premium smokable flowers, kief, and CBD oil.

Watermelon Haze Aroma and Flavors

With flavors of tropical fruits and mild floral notes, Watermelon Haze is slightly sweet and incredibly smooth. It’s not overpowering but there are distinct notes of brown sugar, spice, pine, and skunk.

Terpene Profile

Caryophyllene is the dominant terpene in Watermelon Haze. Found in pepper and cloves, this spicy compound leaves a lingering taste of cracked black pepper and is also said to have strong anti-inflammatory effects.

Along with Myrcene, another major terpene, it constitutes close to half of the strain’s total terpene content. Myrcene is found in mangoes and also lends some of the earthy sweetness and bitterness to lemongrass and thyme.

Limonene and humulene are the other two major terpenes, instilling aromas of wood, hops, and citrus while helping to create a thoroughly complex flavor profile.

Benefits of Watermelon Haze Hemp Flowers

As an Indica-dominant strain, Watermelon Haze will relax your body and melt your stresses away, but it won’t knock you out and there is a certain degree of clarity that it carries with it. It’s balancing, relaxing, and calming.

Watermelon Haze hemp flowers could even give you a creative spark by taking away the pains of work and responsibility while giving you the freedom to think clearly.

It’s best reserved for those long and stressful evenings and could provide some much-needed relief for insomnia sufferers. It may even help stimulate your appetite, although, as with any hemp strain, it all depends on the user and the dose.

Closing Thoughts: Watermelon Haze Hemp Flowers

The flavors of Watermelon Haze are a little earthier and skunkier than its name might suggest, but there is a notable undercurrent of sweetness alongside notes of tropical fruits.

It is best used as a sleep aid and relaxant, but it could also soothe aches, soothe pains, and clear mental fog.
