A Guide to Super Lemon Haze Hemp Flowers

Super Lemon Haze is a massively popular strain bred to produce high levels of CBD. Initially, this Sativa-dominant strain was bred by Franco Loja, who crossed Super Silver Haze with Lemon Skunk. His goal was to produce a sharp, heady THC-rich cannabis strain, and he managed to do just that, winning several awards for his efforts.

In the age of legal hemp and CBD, Super Lemon Haze has taken on a new life, keeping those THC levels to a minimum while pushing CBD to a whole new level. The high-CBD variant was bred by Green House Seed Co. by crossing it with a high-CBD male.

Super Lemon Haze CBD Hemp Flower Review

You won’t see any striking purples or vibrant greens here. Super Lemon Haze hemp flowers are pretty pale, albeit with prominent orange streaks that make these dense little nugs very attractive.

You’ll notice an unmistakable citrus aroma when you first open the seal and retrieve the nugs. It’s incredibly distinctive, which is the reason this strain is so famous among experienced hemp smokers.

Cannabinoid Content

The CBD content of Super Lemon Haze varies greatly depending on the phenotype. Generally, it falls between 10% and 12%, but it can depend on everything from whether it was grown indoors or outdoors and what kind of equipment, soil, and nutrients were used.

It doesn’t have the highest CBD content and falls somewhat short of strains like The Wife and Suver Haze, but that’s still a pretty hefty amount of CBD and should be more than enough to provide the effects that you seek.

Super Lemon Haze Aroma and Flavors

As you would expect from the name and reputation of this strain, its most dominant flavor is citrus. It is unmistakable and incredibly potent. You’ll taste it on every drag, and it will linger long after you’ve smoked the last bowl or finished your last joint.

It’s not just about bitter and fragrant citrus, however. Super Lemon Haze also has some very earthy undertones and there are some floral notes as well.

Terpene Profile

Limonene is one of the most prominent terpenes in Super Lemon Haze. This is where the strain gets its unique citrus aromas, as Limonene is found in the oils of citrus fruits and is particularly concentrated in the rinds of lemons and oranges.

If you get a whiff of fresh lemon peel when you open your Super Lemon Haze, now you know why!

Other terpenes include Ocimene, which is actually named after the Ancient Greek word for basil and possesses many of the herby and floral aromas associated with this herb.

It also contains the peppery Caryophyllene and the earthy Myrcene.

Benefits of Super Lemon Haze Hemp Flowers

One drag of smokable Super Lemon Haze flowers will awaken your senses and spark your creativity. It’s often used as a study aid and is also favored by musicians, artists, and writers who find that it helps them with clarity, focus, and productivity.

It’s more uplifting than sedating, so it’s best to smoke throughout the day and not during the night, but its clarifying effects could help settle your worries and calm your mind. This is especially useful if you find that you can’t concentrate, work, or study because your thoughts keep getting away from you.

Closing Thoughts: Super Lemon Haze Hemp Flowers

Super Lemon Haze hemp flowers are highly sought-after and once you open your first order, you’ll understand why. It has very memorable aromas and flavors that combine with some very uplifting and energetic effects.

If you’re looking for a strain with bite that can perk you up, Super Lemon Haze could be just what you’re looking for. On the other hand, if you prefer a more subtle smoke and less dominant flavors, it’s probably not for you.
