A Guide to Purple Boax Hemp Flowers

Purple Boax hemp flowers seem to have it all. They’re loaded with cannabinoids and terpenes, display beautiful purple, orange, and green hues, and have a full-bodied flavor.

It’s no wonder that these little powerhouses have become so popular as smokable hemp flowers.

Purple Boax CBD Hemp Flower Review

Bred from an Otto II and Hindu-Kush lineage, Purple Boax hemp flowers have influences from the strongest strains in Colorado and Asia, offering the best of so many worlds and providing users with an eclectic range of aromas, flavors, and effects.

Best enjoyed in joints and bongs, the flowers can also be vaporized, at which point many of those harsher and earthier flavors disappear and leave more subtle and sweet tastes in their wake.

Cannabinoid Content

Although the exact cannabinoid content of Purple Boax hemp flowers is dependent on the specific phenotype, it’s usually at least 14% CBD. One of the varieties we checked had 16.5% total cannabinoids, with an impressive 14.95% CBDa and 0.93% CBD.

THC was measured at just 0.11%, which is enough to ensure federal compliance while eradicating the risk of THC side effects.

Purple Boax Aroma and Flavors

After inhaling your first drag, you’ll detect notes of warm bread, charred wood, wet earth, black pepper, and sweet fruits. It’s woody, herby, and earthy, but there is an underlying sweetness that helps balance things out.

Terpene Profile

Β-Myrcene is the most dominant terpene in Purple Boax. This is where the strain’s earthy and fruity aromas come from. It may also provide some of its benefits as it’s thought to help with inflammation.

There is plenty Pinene and Caryophyllene here as well. These terpenes lend the strain its unique flavors of pine needles, hops, and cracked black pepper. Finally, Purple Boax contains a moderate concentration of Farnesene, which is responsible for the aromas associated with gardenia.

Benefits of Purple Boax Hemp Flowers

Purple Boax hemp flowers pack a punch, one toke is enough to lift your mood and alleviate the stresses of the day. Additionally, it’s not overwhelming and can be used throughout the day, making it more suited for use as a productivity aid or for stress relief, as opposed to a strain to help you sleep.

Closing Thoughts: Purple Boax Hemp Flowers

Fans of the famous Boax strain need to try its colorful and full-bodied offspring. You can find Purple Boax flowers in several online and offline dispensaries, particularly in the Colorado region.

High-grade Purple Boax buds typically sell for upwards of $9 a gram and we found some retailers selling hand-trimmed nugs for just $100 an ounce.
