A Guide to La Crème CBG Hemp Flowers

La Crème is a CBG strain with Sativa traits and a low concentration of THC. It’s one of an increasing number of strains bred to produce large quantities of a compound that has been dubbed the “mother cannabinoid”.

Just like CBD, CBG offers a variety of health benefits, but it’s not simply a cheap alternative. It is a powerful and beneficial compound in its own right, and La Crème is a great way to experience it.

La Crème Hemp Flower Review

With medium-to-large flowers, lime green leaves, and a scattering of orange hairs, La Crème hemp flowers aren’t all that unique in appearance, but there are some interesting flavors and effects hiding inside those generic buds.

Cannabinoid and Terpene Content

The cannabinoid content of La Crème buds ranges from around 13% to 17%. It’s a little on the low side when compared to CBG strains that tip the scales at 20%, but it’s more than enough to deliver the medicinal effects that you seek, especially when combined with the terpenes.

Myrcene is one of the most dominant terpenes but there is also a high concentration of Caryophyllene, Bisabolol, and Farnesene.

La Crème Aroma and Flavors

La Crème has a very woody and spicy aroma, but you will also detect notes of fragrant chamomile and green tea. It’s hoppy, earthy, spicy, and woody.

It lacks the intense sweetness and sharpness of other strains, and you won’t get much sourness either, but it is definitely a pleasant and enjoyable smoke.

Benefits of La Crème

The Sativa lineage of La Crème really shines through when you take that first drag.

The effects come on quickly and begin to usher your anxieties and stresses away within seconds of the smoke leaving your lungs.

Just as you’re waiting for numbness and sedation to descend, a certain clarity takes over and leaves a wave of energy and a spark of creativity in its wake.

It’s not exactly stimulating, certainly not in the same way as a strong cup of coffee, but you will feel a little more focused and centered, and may have the urge to work, play, or create.

You can smoke these hemp flowers at any time of the day, especially if you keep your dose on the small side, but it’s best to leave it until the later afternoon or early evening.

Whether you’re spending time with friends, doing some chores, or settling down to finish some work, it can be the perfect accompaniment.

On a medicinal level, it could help to ease pain and anxiety and will do so without clouding your head and leaving you groggy.

Closing Thoughts

The crème de la crème of CBG strains? Probably not. That honor would likely go to a more established strain like The White or Jack Frost.

But that doesn’t mean that you should avoid it.

After all, if we all stick with the strongest and most flavorsome strains, none of these reviews would be necessary and we’d all simply load up on the likes of Lifter, Suver Haze, and Sour Space Candy.

Variety is the spice of life, and while La Crème is probably not going to have pride of place in your stash, it definitely deserves to be there.
