Cherry Soda has a slight sweetness and a fruity aroma, not unlike its namesake.
It produces relatively small buds of a medium density and has some mild flavors and balanced effects. It’s not the most popular, but it certainly has its benefits and it could be worth grabbing some of these nugs the next time you’re at your local dispensary.
Cherry Soda Hemp Flower Review
Cherry Soda hemp flowers have a subtle sweetness and very balanced effects, providing a mixture of sedation and creative energy that isn’t at all overpowering and will be beneficial for inexperienced users.
In fact, we’ve seen a lot of users complaining that Cherry Soda isn’t strong enough for them, with the suggestion being that they will only buy it if they are able to get it cheaply, at which point it becomes a decent bud to use in pre-rolls, concentrates, and for cooking.
We are in agreement with this, and if you’re spending a lot of money on premium nugs, you probably shouldn’t be buying Cherry Soda, but that doesn’t mean you need to avoid it entirely.
Cannabinoid and Terpene Content
The total cannabinoids of Cherry Soda are around 21% to 22%, with CBD accounting for 17-18% of this. THC is very low, and terpenes are around 2-3%, with the main compounds including Myrcene, Caryophyllene, and Geranyl, providing the sweetness and floral notes that give the strain its name.
Cherry Soda Aroma and Flavors
The sweetness of Cherry Soda is very subtle. It’s not the sort of overpowering sweetness that you get from other Cherry strains and it lacks the depth of many Berry strains, but it’s still pleasant.
When you take your first drag, you’ll detect many of those subtle and sweet flavors at the back of your throat, including notes of cherries, raisins, and lavender, but these are ultimately overridden by a gassy, skunky flavor.
The high CBD and terpene content, along with its hybrid nature, means that Cherry Soda provides relatively balanced effects. As with the flavors, “subtle” is the keyword here.
It lacks the clear-headed energy of Lifter or the couch lock of Super Glue, and it finds a neutral ground between the two.
If you’re using CBD purely for the painkilling and anti-inflammatory properties, and you want to avoid any psychoactive effects and bothersome side effects, it could be ideal. If you want something that hits hard and leaves a lasting impact, Cherry Soda is not for you.
