The 2018 Farm Bill created a hemp revolution, one that led to the almost-overnight commercialization of a product that was previously stigmatized. Some of the most interesting products born during this golden age are hemparettes, also known as hempettes.
These manufactured pre-rolls are designed to mimic cigarettes. They contain 10 or 20 in a pack, can be purchased in cartoons, and feature a host of designs, flavors, and more. They are super-stylish and marketable—tailormade for the Instagram age.
Wild Hemp is arguably one of the biggest providers in this sector, with a distinctive color scheme, tightly rolled cigarettes, and an abundance of positive user reviews.
Hemp Flower Varietals
Although Wild Hemp is best-known for its hempettes, it also sells hemp flowers. These seem to be available in very limited quantities and at the time of writing, they were all out of stock. Generally, if availability allows, you can buy the following strains:
- Sour Space Candy: A gassy, sour, and sweet varietal delivering as much as 18% CBD.
- Hawaiian Haze: Fruity, tropical, and loaded with CBD—a popular strain that makes for a smooth and enjoyable smoke.
- Lifter: Delivers between 16 and 17% CBD, with uplifting sensations that could boost creativity and focus.
- Cherry Wine: Described as the “perfect strain for beginners,” Cherry Wine has 16% CBD on average with a sweet, sticky, and musty aroma.
Wild Hemp Hempettes
Wild Hemp’s hempettes are sold 20 to a pack, with approximately 70mg of CBD per stick. They are stylish, convenient, and relatively cheap, but they’re also much less potent than the brand’s hemp flowers.
No strains are listed, and the ingredients are described simply as “hemp.” It does state, however, that “aerial parts of the hemp plant” are used. This is just another way of saying that everything from stalks and seeds might be used. These are the less desirable parts of the hemp plant and don’t provide the potency or flavor you get with pure flowers.
Still, if you’re looking for a cheap way to enjoy hemp, either as a way of consuming CBD or replacing tobacco, you can’t go wrong. The Original Wild Hemp hempettes cost just $12.99 for a pack of 20, and there are also packs of Pineapple, Menthol, and “Sweet” available, all for the same price.
You can purchase Wild Hemp Hempettes, flowers, and oils directly through the company’s website using all major credit and debit cards. There is also a PayPal logo on the site, suggesting that it accepts this e-wallet as payment.
However, as we expected, there is no such option available in the checkout. PayPal is a little wary of companies that sell hemp and cannabis-related products, and the same is true for many other online merchants and payment providers. It’s why you’re often limited to credit cards and wire transfers.
Other Products
The America Juice Co. owns and operates Wild Hemp, so it should come as no surprise that the brand also stocks a selection of oils and juices.
These are available in varying quantities, strengths, and flavors, including oils designed specifically to help with relaxation, sedation, inspiration, and recovery.
